Special Education Teacher
Caledonia Area Elementary School – Caledonia, MN
Position Type: Full-Time | Start Date: August 2025
Application Deadline: Wednesday, July 16, 2025–or until filled
Caledonia Area Elementary School is seeking a dedicated and student-centered Special Education Teacher to join our team for the 2025–2026 school year. This position supports students with a range of special needs through direct instruction, collaboration, and individualized programming.
Responsibilities:
* Provide specially designed instruction as outlined in student IEPs
* Collaborate with general education teachers, service providers, and families
* Develop and maintain compliant and effective IEPs
* Collect data and monitor student progress toward goals
* Implement behavior support strategies as needed
Qualifications:
* Valid Minnesota teaching license in Special Education (ABS, LD, EBD, or similar area)
* Strong communication and organizational skills
* Ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and families
* Experience with due process systems preferred (SpEd Forms)
* Salary range $47,739 - $80,918
