[cid:ii_jbhyzawa0_1607e79dfbc6ff6f] &#8203; Job Description Aspen Academy is looking for a full-time (1.0) elementary and/or middle school special education teacher for the remainder of the 17-18 year and into the 18-19 year. This teacher will be working with elementary and middle school students of a variety of disability areas. Ideal candidates include those who are either new to profession or experienced, collaborate well with other professionals and are strong communicators verbally and in writing. This position is unique in that it will be teaching 70% and working as an evaluation lead 30%. Time will be given each day to evaluate the academic portions of evaluations and write reports. Qualifications Required: Bachelor&#8217;s degree, MN license or the ability to obtain a waiver (school will support a waiver for the best qualified person, if necessary). Preferred: EBD/LD/ABS/DCD License. Experience working in education, Master&#8217;s degree. Experience with data-driven instructional practices. Experience writing high-quality evaluations and collaborating with evaluation teams.
