This is a 0.6 FTE position starting August 27, 2018. This position would be combined with a .4 FTE for classroom teaching or curriculum support aligned with the chosen candidate's licensure in order to make a 1.0 FTE position. The primary role of the coordinator would be to prepare, support and facilitate the transition for the upcoming Spanish Dual Language Immersion program coming to RAMS in 2019-2020 school year for students matriculating from the Little Canada Elementary School's Dual Language Immersion program. This position would include, but is not limited to: * Communicate vision and purpose of DLI program to students, staff and families * Partner with administration to communicate, problem solve and identify program needs * Support DLI teachers and DLI curriculum development for grade 7 & 8 Qualifications: * Experience in the coordination of a Dual Language Program. * Advanced degree/s and/or certificates in the areas of culture, language and immersion programming. Compensation: Salary will be determined based on our Teacher matrix (see attaced), plus a District contribution towards insurance. Minimum full year, full time starting salary is $41,788.
