The Academy for Sciences and Agriculture is seeking a full time Special Education teacher for the 2018-2019 school year. AFSA focuses on experiential learning opportunities within a science and agricultural framework. Students attend AFSA from more than 20 local school districts. Special education teachers manage caseloads of 12-16 students and provide push in support for core curriculum classes. AFSA uses an inclusion model for special education services. Currently AFSA is a 5-12 school and will be expanding to include grades K-12 for the 2019-20 school year. Benefits include health, dental, life and disability insurance, contribution to TRA and paid personal and sick time.
