Positions are for Early Childhood Family Education (ECFE) working with children birth to age 5 and for IGH Preschool working with children age 3-5. In these positions, paraprofessionals work daytime and evening hours vary and may be combined. Required Qualifications: * High school diploma or equivalent. * Experience working with young children preferred. * Positive communication skills with adults and children. * Ability to problem solve in a quick, decisive manner. * Ability to interact appropriately with adults and children. * Maintain timely, regular attendance. Prefer candidates with the following: * A high school diploma or GED and one of the following: * An AA, AS, AAS (or higher) degree, or * Two years of post-secondary coursework (60 semester credits or 90 quarter credits) from an accredited institution of higher education which are applicable toward a bachelors degree, or * Passing score of 460 (or higher) on the ParaPro Assessment. Pay and Benefits: The rate of pay for this position is $15.52 per hour. Insurance benefits are available to full-time employees and part-time employees who work at least twenty hours per week.
