Special Education Evaluation Coordinator Full-time - AFSA High School

The Academy for Sciences and Agriculture is seeking a full time Special Education Evaluation Coordinator for the 2018-2019 school year. AFSA focuses on experiential learning opportunities within a science and agricultural framework. Students attend AFSA from more than 20 local school districts. AFSA uses an inclusion model for special education services. Currently AFSA is a 5-12 school and will be expanding to include grades K-12 for the 2019-20 school year. Duties include .75 FTE Special Education Evaluation Coordinator and .25 FTE Case management; overseeing and managing initial, one-year and three- year evaluations for students in grades 5-12, with a small case load of students in grades 7-12. Knowledge of current testing methods and best practices in evaluations required. Experience in case management and evaluations required. This position will become a full-time evaluation position as the school grows to include grades K-4 fall of 2019. All special education licenses considered.
