Job Summary: * Work collaboratively with special services team members to support the needs of children from birth to K. * Conduct initial evaluations through child find protocols for infant and preschool population. * Represent the District appropriately throughout the process of identification and evaluation of infant and preschool populations. * Collaborate with team members to design, coordinate, and deliver appropriate interventions and support to infants and preschool children with disabilities. * Participate in home visit service provision. * Participate in regular PLC meetings as an active and engaged professional. * Maintain due process paperwork according to District, State, and Federal guidelines. * Communicate frequently with parents, colleagues, children, and administrators through all available means of technology. * Establish and maintain high standards for the learning experiences of children. Qualifications: * Current Minnesota Teaching License required. * High level of due process expertise required. * Demonstrated ability to facilitate meaningful discourse throughout the child find, evaluation, and IEP/IFSP process. * Experience working directly with students in an early childhood setting preferred. * Effective task and time management skills. * Effective oral and written communication skills. * Demonstrated experience in collaboration and problem-solving. * Experience with curriculum, assessment, intervention, and accommodation design. * Understanding of the role of parent involvement and the ability to collaborate with parents. * Ability to use technology as needed.
