Academic Arts High School is a progressive Project-Based Learning and Environmental Arts High School in West St. Paul, MN, approximately 6 miles from downtown St. Paul. We are seeking a full time Special Education Teacher to work with students in Special Education. ABS or LD license preferred but other license areas are also considered. Applicants with strengths in the areas of compliant paperwork, due process timelines, parent communication, and leading Special Education evaluation meetings are encouraged to apply. Teacher provides direct instruction on IEP goals and objectives in both pull out/push in and co-taught environments. Collaborates with general ed and special educators. Works effectively with parents and inter-agency providers. Ability to write compliant IEPs and Evaluations that include transition from school to adult life components.
