Facilitate technology aspects of health and safety programs and especially online staff training and the online crisis preparedness management system. Work with Health & Safety Supervisor in the development of online training programs using video & audio editing software. Administer and train staff in the use of the health & safety CAFM (CAD database) program. Implement and maintain computerized reporting program for the Chemical Hygiene Officers inspections and chemical inventories. Coordinate and conduct trainings with department leads (train the trainer). Liaison to technology department regarding Health & Safety online programs and training. Administer SDS database program and expand to building specific format. Trouble-shoot Health & Safety computer related problems for staff. Perform other tasks and assume responsibilities as assigned by the Buildings & Grounds Director. Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent. Demonstrated ability and significant experience relevant to implementing and maintaining a large educational institution's health & safety training and data management programs. Two years of experience working in the direct support of technology both hardware and software including video production. Working knowledge of Macintosh and Wintel. Excellent communication skills including oral, writing and listening. Ability to work with diverse groups. High attention to detail. Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills as it relates to software and hardware support. Ability to perform position responsibilities including physical factors, work devices and materials handling, data functions, and people functions. Preferred Qualifications: BA degree and 2 years minimum experience working with data management and video/audio editing preferred. Familiar with Coastal C3, FileMaker Pro, Adobe Premiere Pro and Audition, and Audacity preferred. Experience with Access, Excel, TIES, MS Word, Outlook, Google/GMail preferred. Rate of Pay: $24.25/hour, $25.30/hour with AA degree, $26.45/hour with BA degree. Start Date: ASAP after closing. Technology Support Technician
Full Time  260 days/8 hrs/day

Duties:
