Last year, Minnesota Math and Reading Corps provided direct services to more than 35,000 children in more than 900 sites across the state. Tutors serve most of their hours during the school day. We will have multiple openings for 2019-2020, both full and part time. Tutors come from many backgrounds and include recent high school and college grads, career changers, stay-at-home parents, and retirees. With extensive training, support from onsite coaches, and evidence-based strategies, tutors are well-equipped to change lives. Tutors may earn a living allowance, education award, and federal student loan forbearance, and will have the chance to make a real difference in the life of a child.
