Job Summary: This position is responsible for providing leadership, planning, strategic direction, financial oversight, and delivery of a portfolio of products for K-12 school technology market to achieve business goals. Essential Functions: * Develop the strategies, plans, and tactics to drive profitable customer acquisition and retention to achieve revenue and profit performance and business goals. * Responsible for product and pricing plans while supporting cross-functional peers in developing the sales and marketing portions of the plans. * Direct the work of and manage a team of product owners; influence I/T teams (scrum master, QA, developers) to ensure product is on time, on spec, on-budget delivery. Assure Product Managers communicate release schedule to the organization. Monitor key performance metrics to ensure clarity around performance to plan. * Drive collaboration across organization (internal account management, sales, operations, marketing, finance, etc.) to drive the planning process, the plan development, and plan execution for the overall portfolio. This will include, but not be limited to, driving market insights, product lifecycle management, market planning, portfolio management, portfolio delivery, financial management, performance monitoring, and pricing. * Advances an integrated approach to identification and resolution of market trends in collaboration with Account Management, Sales, Market Research, Marketing, Customer Experience and other functional areas. Drives the discovery and validation of market problems and opportunities (both existing and future customers) and translates these to opportunities for the portfolio. * Directs the overall portfolio management / lifecycle management and portfolio delivery including re-launches, new offerings, and retirement of existing products to meet the overall needs of the market and achieve the business and financial objectives. * Monitors and evaluates the portfolio performance including market share, profitability, growth, customer feedback and competitive insights. Oversees portfolio optimization to improve competitive position. Directs communication of performance to the executive team and other key stakeholders. * Advances strategies that support the overall plan and initiatives * Determines opportunities and strategies to buy/build/partner decisions to advance the overall business strategies. * Other duties as assigned Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
