Ideal candidate will be skilled at assessing the speech and language skills of school age children as designing and implementing direct services that support the general education curriculum. Minnesota licensure in Speech-Language Pathology required; ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence preferred. Duties include conducting formal and informal assessments of students' speech language development and implementing IEPs, and working collaboratively with school teams and parents. Occasional or frequent lifting of 20 to 40 pounds or more may be required. The school district requires applicants for school district positions, who receive an offer of employment, to submit to a criminal history background check.
