Job Title: Head Girls&#8217; Volleyball Coach Required Skills: Oversee all aspects of the Marshall girls&#8217; volleyball program within the bylaws of the Minnesota State High School League (MSHSL) and in line with the mission of Marshall School. Developing a team culture that is in line with Marshall&#8217;s Mission Statement is required &#8211; this includes ethical behavior and respect for the game and our student-athletes. Bachelor&#8217;s degree preferred, with 1-3 years coaching/playing experience at the high school level or above. The successful Marshall girls&#8217; Volleyball Coach will be able to motivate our individual student-athletes and the team to perform at their highest levels by teaching individual skill development and strategic game planning. The coach will have excellent verbal communication skills, and strong organizational skills, with the ability to perform multiple tasks and changing priorities without losing focus. CPR/First Aid and AED certification required (will train). Responsible for all aspects of the Marshall girls&#8217; volleyball program, the coach will oversee the varsity, JV, C-team and middles school teams, hire coaches, conduct meetings with players and their parents, develop strong alumni and media relations, and work directly with the Athletic Director on mission values, budgets, academic eligibility, etc., and with the Athletic Coordinator for scheduling home and away contests, booking hotels, scheduling transportation, etc. Interested candidates should forward a cover letter, resume and at least three professional references to Rosemary Milczark, Executive Assistant: rmilczark@marshallschool.org<mailto:rmilczark@marshallschool.org> or send to 1215 Rice Lake Road, Duluth, MN 55811.
