This position requires 20 hours per week and will start August 26th and end November 25th. The schedule for this position is flexible and can be set based on availability. Primary Responsibilities: * Coordinate weekly with the Early Childhood Administrative Assistant to gather files and materials needed to conduct screening * Check inventory of screening materials and work with the Early Childhood Administrative Assistant to replenish materials, as needed * Complete file reviews for current referrals to gain an understanding of concerns and other information provided by the parent/guardian * Gather and complete necessary due process paperwork * Directly administer early childhood screening assessments using appropriate tools * Score, interpret and analyze screening results * Determine appropriate next steps for each child screened, based on completed screening results * Share results with parents and upload into electronic filing system Experience: The candidate must be knowledgeable in special education due process requirements, have experience with special education assessment, and be knowledgeable about child development. Experience in early childhood settings is preferred.
