We are seeking a Long-Term Science and Technology Paraprofessional to cover for a leave in Fall 2019. The Long-Term Science and Technology Paraprofessional will provide preparation, instructional and behavioral support to the Science teacher and the Technology teacher during Science and Technology specialist classes in grades K-6. The assignment will begin on August 20, 2019 and continue through November 27, 2019. There is a possibility for additional long-term assignments to cover other anticipated leaves up to winter break. The qualified applicant will possess a strong ability to develop positive rapport with young learners of diverse backgrounds, to maintain clear and consistent expectations, to support learning activities and student behavior will skill and enthusiasm, and to communicate effectively and professionally with team members. A high school diploma is required, a college degree is preferred.
