Responsible to: Finance and Evaluation Director Length of Position: September 1, 2019-August 31, 2022 Renewal for subsequent years based on performance and funding Hours: 1/2 time, 185 days over 12 months Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in education, youth development, or related field preferred, * Prior experience working with youth, * Possess strong leadership skills, able to multi-task, and strong organizational skills. Salary: Based on education and experience (range 18,000-$25,000) Apply At: www.lpge.org, Human Resources Job Responsibilities: * Establish 9-12 and 7-8 youth advisory committee and assist students with implementation of student directed academic and enrichment programs, * Ensure all programs adhere to grant requirements, * Publicize programs through oral, written, and digital communications, * Recruit, hire, train, and supervise staff; and attend staff meetings, * Monitor teachers' progress in use of desired instructional strategies, * Support staff members in implementing program activities to achieve program goals, * Evaluate programs and staff using quality assessment tools, * Coordinate the planning, development, and implementation of the Work-Based Learning Program during the school year and summer session, * Coordinate the planning, development and implementation of the Link Crew Program and serve as program advisor, * Conduct student and parent surveys, * Meet regularly with school administration to discuss the implementation of programs to ensure applicable school policies and regulations are adhered to, * Participate in the development of organizational policies and publications, i.e. handbooks, brochures, registration materials, newsletters, * Assist with preparation and maintenance of records and reports, * Attend and participate in local, regional, state, and on-line training related to 21st CCLC, and * Coordinate family literacy and educational programs for families of participating children.
