ORGANIZATIONAL DESCRIPTION Community School of Excellence (CSE) is pre-Kindergarten to 8th grade Hmong Language and Culture Charter school. It provides a world-class education through a caring and innovative environment that fosters inquiring, knowledgeable and compassionate students who embrace the Hmong culture and celebrate intercultural understanding and respect. CULTURE OF LEARNING CSE believes that every scholar has the right to learn, be engaged, and grow in a healthy school environment. This means that CSE must foster a culture of learning that embraces every scholar&#8217;s strengths and explore ways to strengthen our relationships with our scholars and their families. CSE is committed to building collaborative leadership and effective capacity between and among staff, parents and scholars. This is accomplished by changing our behaviors and actions so we can better support our scholars and parents in achieving their academic goals. Creating a Social-Emotional Learning Environment JOB INFORMATION Job Title: District Assessment Coordinator Reports to: Education Leader Hours: 8am to 4:30pm &#8211; Monday thru Friday Office Location: 270 Larpenteur Avenue West, St. Paul, MN 55113 Salary Range: DOE JOB SUMMARY Under the direction of the Education Leader, the District Assessment Coordinator will be responsible for coordination, administration, and analysis of the District&#8217;s assessment program and student data to help drive instruction and the school academic plan. Responsibilities includes reporting of data to instructional staff, executive team, and Board members as needed and provide training on administration of school wide assessments as well as state and federal assessment compliance policy and procedures. JOB DETAILS Assessment Coordination &#183; Coordinate, plan, implement school wide standardized assessments (NWEA, Fastbridge MCA, ACCESS, etc) &#183; Conduct training for staff regarding state and school assessment policies and procedures &#183; Understand state requirement and timelines for district assessment in order create the most efficient assessment schedule &#183; Attend state meeting, trainings, and conference related to assessment to stay up-to-date on assessment compliance &#183; Work in partnership with the Data team to review student data for academic planning. Academic Technology Integration &#183; Research, coordinate and implement new technology and online programs to support instruction and increase student performance &#183; Facilitates professional development of teachers and other instructional staff on integration of technology in the classroom &#183; Ability to effective implementation education hardware and software programs i.e. IXL, Viewpoint, Reading A-Z, etc &#183; Manage and support online academic resources and programs for teachers and students i.e Reach, Math Expressions, Pearson&#8217;s, etc. Student and Parent Engagement &#183; Coordinate, manage and implement online parent teacher conference signup process through school website &#183; Plan, Coordinate, and implement annual district wide student survey &#183; Serve as academic advisor to students for extracurricular activities such as Asian Penguins &#183; Engage parents and community members in extracurricular activities &#183; Work with parents to access online parent portal and/or other student progress information &#183; Work with Education Leader, Teacher, and other staff to provide a positive and successful community culture within the school to create the conditions to ensure the academic achievement is obtained &#183; Establishes a culture of learning by building relationships with staff, students and families Other Duties &#183; Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
