Head Varsity Girls Basketball - Staples-Motley High School Effective Date of Employment: Beginning of Season, 2020 Application Deadlines: Open until filled COMPLETE JOB DESCRIPTION: Responsibilities: * Lead, organize, and delegate responsibilities with assistant coaches in the administration of a high-functioning 9-12 grade basketball program * Work closely with Activities Director in the following areas: * Ordering Equipment and supplies * Practice planning and game scheduling * Planning for future budget and purchasing * Inventorying uniforms and equipment * Monitor and maintain the discipline and conduct of student-athletes to support the culture of the Staples-Motley High School and the activities department. * Promote and develop a program that builds relationships with all HS programs and encourages involvement in other school activities to build the program * Ability to motivate athletes in an educational based atmosphere * Aligns philosophies based on the Staples-Motley Continuous Improvement Plan&#8217;s Mission Statement as well as the Cardinal commitments and priorities.
