Dates of the position are subject to change but are expected to be from the start of the 20-21 school year to mid-November. The teacher will serve as case manager and service provider in a cross categorical approach. Courses taught may include reading, writing, and math for grades 4 through 6. The successful candidate will have experience in providing data driven supplemental and resource services with demonstrated student growth and achievement. It is expected that the successful candidate will serve in the following capacities: * Collaboration with grade level teachers to plan accommodations and modifications * Facilitate effective communication between parents and school * Efficient and accurate completion of due process paperwork (Delano Schools uses SPED Forms) * Proactive positive behavioral support planning * Coordinate SPED services and evaluations with members of the Child Study Team * Supervise and direct paraprofessionals A K-12 SLD or ABS certification is required to fulfill this position. Preference will be given to candidates with multiple licensure areas. SPED LTS Position
