Science Teacher, Grades PreK-8, Full-time - Cedar Riverside Community School (Minneapolis) for the 2020-2021 School Year Start Date: August 20, 2020 Primary Responsibilities: Provide daily science instruction to students in grades 7 and 8. Provide science instruction on a rotating basis to students in grades PreK-6. Required Qualifications: A valid Minnesota teaching license (or ability to obtain) for applicable content area and grades. Preferred Qualifications: Experience working with diverse populations of students including immigrants, English learners, special education students, and gifted students. Experience/Training in Responsive Classroom, Response to Intervention (RtI), Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) , PBIS, Social/Emotional Learning, Restorative Practices, digital curriculum, STEM, and/or project-based learning. About the School: Cedar Riverside Community School is a PreK-8 charter school located in the diverse Cedar-Riverside area of Minneapolis. It was established as one of the first charter schools in Minnesota in 1993 with the goal of meeting the unique needs of the youth in the neighborhood.
