ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: * Prepares and facilitates successful practices. * Leads students and team members during meets. * Provide leadership and guidance to staff. * Encourage student participation and establish rapport. * Motivate participants/athletes to achieve maximum potential. * Supervise all areas of participation including but not limited to: classrooms, gyms, fields, arenas, theater, locker or dressing rooms, buses, etc. * Work collaboratively with staff, Activities Director, families and community resources. * Maintains compliance with all rules and regulations. * Complies with and supports all school district regulations and policies. * Other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS: * High school degree, GED, or equivalent. * Ability to work effectively with parents, students, and other staff. * Previous experience as a Head Coach preferred. * Willingness to accept and follow direction. * Ability to work independently with minimum supervision. * General office skills. * Ability to maintain confidentiality.
