This includes staff recruitment, development and evaluation, program planning, implementation and evaluation. This is all done in collaboration with building and district administration and staff. * Requires strong working knowledge of special education rules and regulations as the individual serves as the go-to special education expert. The ideal candidate has previous leadership experience * Provide &#173;&#173;&#173;&#173;&#173;&#173;&#173;&#173;&#173;&#173;&#173;&#173;&#173;&#173;&#173;&#173;direction and oversight of paraprofessionals and other support staff * Communicate and collaborate effectively * Excellent attendance * Knowledge and application of technology and assistive technology * Develop lesson plans to meet the individual needs of students, facilitate learning and meet individual learning goals * Maintain confidentiality of information about students, families and staff * Experience working with diverse students and families * Assist with supervision of students during non-academic education activities. Special Education Coordinator for the Sherburne Northern Wright Special Education Cooperative
