Multi-Tiered Systems of Support Data Coordinator The Multi-tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) Coordinator supports schools as they use data to guide their systems of support for students. This role serves as the district assessment coordinator (DAC) for the district. WHAT YOU&#8217;LL LIKE ABOUT US: * Comprehensive and affordable benefits package including Medical, Dental, Vision, Life/AD&D and Long-Term Disability Coverage * Paid time off and paid holidays * 403(b) Plan & matching * HRA * Annual performance adjustments * Salary range: $89,000 - $94,000 depending on qualifications WHAT YOU&#8217;LL BE WORKING ON: Multi-tiered Systems of Support * Support multi-tiered systems of support at all levels by using academic, social emotional, and practical data to identify K-12 students in need of support; * Monitor key indicators of MTSS implementation such as number of students identified for support, number of students receiving interventions, number of students exiting interventions, number of underserved students accessing interventions, and report those indicators to administration; * Create standard criteria for identifying students in need of additional support; * Curate lists of recommended interventions with appropriate district teams; * Promote research-based interventions; * Create district-recommended processes to support students with additional needs such as progress monitoring and intervention; * Provide support to shared leadership and social-emotional learning teams as they plan and monitor their work. Assessment Coordination * Oversees all aspects of technical test coordination for all levels of standardized testing throughout the district, including preparation, training, administration, security, corrections and verification, reporting, and analysis. Monitors student performance to ensure equitable assessments of students. Assessments include, but are not limited to: Minnesota Comprehensive Assessments (MCA), MTAS, ACCESS, NWEA/MAP, ACT, CogAT, and FastBridge; * Coordinates and supervises state and federal accountability assessment requirements; * Support the collection and analysis of social emotional learning data such as the Strengths and Difficulties Questionnaire and the Minnesota Student Survey; * Prepares technical reports, results of data analyses, surveys, and procedural manuals/courses; * Represents the district assessment interests to Minnesota Department of Education (MDE) and the Metropolitan Assessment Group (MAG); * Coordinate with district information technology staff to provide students with the technology tools and infrastructure they need for assessment. * Lead changes to assessment practices that align with district goals. Professional Development * Exercise leadership on all issues of assessment across all grades, K-12. * Design and conduct assessment in-services and &#8220;data digs/in-service&#8221; to assist instructional administration and staff in using assessment results and other data to improve achievement and organizational performance. * Design and conduct assessment in-services to assist administration and staff in the processes and procedures of the administration of district assessments. * Collaborates with the special education leadership to support assessment and progress monitoring for special education students. * Design and conduct in-services to assist teachers and administration in identifying students who need additional support without reliance on deficit ideologies. * Design and conduct in-services to assist instructional administration and staff in the formative assessment process. * Collaborate with the Instructional Data Support Specialists (instructional coaches), Learning Specialists, Deans, Digital Learning Specialists, Media Specialists, Student Services, and Teaching and Learning to determine professional development opportunities for staff. * Facilitate development of teacher technology skills as they relate to assessment: * Developing and supporting implementation of innovative technology solutions for instructional delivery and assessments. * Providing job-embedded, after-school, and extended year professional development as it relates to the integrating digital tools, resources, and equitable assessments. Communication * Maintain teacher-facing data reporting tools such as Educlimber and Infinite Campus to allow easy access to and clear communication of assessment results. * Support the assessment reporting process, including preparation of annual reports, presentations to the board of education, presentations to buildings&#8217; staff, presentations to the community, and updates to the district website in collaboration with Director of Data Analytics. * Create and update assessment information on district website. * Communicate current practices and policies from MDE and MAG to a district audience. * Include student and family voices in assessment decisions. Leadership for Equity * Establish and maintain equitable assessment practices for students including equitable access, equitable assessment administration, and just use of student data. * Encourage assessment practices that are inclusive of all learners. * Use assessment data to critically examine gaps and inequities. * Use assessment to advance the pursuit of equity for students. * Supporting teachers and administration in data analytics (MAP, FastBridge, MCA, survey data, etc). Assessments include, but are not limited to:  Minnesota Comprehensive Assessments (MCA), MTAS, ACCESS, NWEA/MAP, ACT, CogAT, and FastBridge;
  • Coordinates and supervises state and federal accountability assessment requirements;
