PSYCHOMETRIST We’re seeking a Psychometrist to join us in our vision to redefine the way our nation is taught, one student, one teacher, and one school at a time. Groves Academy is the only school in Minnesota dedicated to serving students with average to above average intelligence who have language-based learning disabilities (LD), like dyslexia, and attention disorders, such as ADHD. In addition to our school for grades 1-12, our Learning Center offers services to individuals with LD in the community. At the heart of Groves Academy is a community where students, families, faculty, and staff are engaged with a sense of belonging, sharing, and support. As a community, integrity and respect are intrinsic in everything we do. The Pychometrist will assist the clinical staff within the Diagnostics Department at Groves Academy with psychoeducational, neuropsychological, and cognitive assessments, while becoming increasingly-competent with a wide array of cognitive and academic testing. Additionally, the Psychometrist will engage in ongoing consultation with our psychologists, to assist in report writing and case conceptualization. Experience and Education Required: * Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Statistics, or another related field. CSP certification a plus. * Formal training in Cognitive Assessment, which may include: * A minimum of 1-year of graduate level education from an APA accredited school is preferred * Extensive supervised training, feedback, and ongoing consultation pertaining to testing administration, scoring, normative test data, research statics and methods, ethics, and more. * Proven familiarity and experience with diagnostic testing, in a manner consistent with description outlined above, obtained through formal training, graduate level courses, clinical experiences, etc. * Experience working in an academic setting or extensive experience working one-on-one with students. * Clinical experiences and/or coursework pertaining to special considerations in working with students with a Learning Disorder. * Experience administering, scoring, and interpretation in achievement testing (such as W-J IV ACH, WIAT-III, Nelson-Denny Reading Test/Gray Oral Reading Test/or another similar measure) * Experience using cognitive testing (such as WISC-V, WAIS-IV, WJ-IV COG, and more) * Experience with neuropsychological testing (such as Wisconsin Card Sorting Test, CVLT-C/II, Rey-Osterrieth Complex Figure Test, D-KEFS, WMS-IV, and more) * Proficient in utilizing technology associated with testing, using both a laptop and an iPad.
