POSITION TYPE Student Advisor SUMMARY A Student Services Advisor provides high quality online guidance and education to an assigned group of students. The Student Services Advisor works with students via the internet, telephone, and other means of electronic communication to ensure full educational needs are met. ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES include the following: &#8226; Make weekly advisory calls and emails &#8226; Develop relationships with students and families &#8226; Document & maintain regular correspondence with students & families in compliance with school policy &#8226; Write, implement and evaluate a yearly professional development plan &#8226; Monitor student work and grades in a timely fashion &#8226; Monitor student engagement &#8226; Attend parent-teacher conference nights twice annually &#8226; Attend student support meetings and IEP meetings &#8226; Acts as a liaison between staff, students, and families &#8226; Other duties as assigned REQUIRED EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE &#8226; Bachelor&#8217;s Degree from a four-year college or university &#8226; Current Minnesota License as a Teacher, Counselor, or Social Worker Position has ability to work remotely HOW TO APPLY If you are interested please send a copy of your cover letter and resume to Leslie Egner, the HR Specialist at leslie.egner@blueskyschool.org<mailto:leslie.egner@blueskyschool.org>.
