Job Summary: Responsible for assisting the school principal in the instructional leadership, coordination, supervision and management of the school programs and operations. Assists the Principal in implementing the philosophy, policies and goals of the School Board, ensuring equitable achievement, student safety and related work as apparent or assigned. Work is performed under the general direction of the Principal. Building supervision is exercised over personnel providing training, direction, coordination, evaluation and supervision of employees. Required Work Experience: A minimum of five years experience in education, Previous supervision and leadership experience, Specialist's degree or 6th Year Certificate with coursework in education administration, or related field and considerable experience as a teacher, assistant principal, central office administrator, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
