Immediate Supervisor of Position: SFMS Kitchen Manager
Qualifications:
Required qualifications: High school diploma. Must possess good math skills and communication skills (both oral and written). Regular Attendance is an Essential function of the job.
Preferred qualifications: School foodservice experience, Production Records, and must be able to lift 50 pounds. Ideal candidate will possess a positive attitude and provide excellent customer service to students, staff, and others while fostering an environment of teamwork with others in kitchen.
Duties for cook are but are not limited to:
* Prepare, cook, and serve food utilizing a variety of kitchen equipment including Combi Ovens, Warmers, etc.
* Wash dishes; clean kitchen and organize storeroom, freezer, and cooler areas
* Maintain production records
* Provide input to Kitchen Manager regarding staffing, menus, inventory, etc.
* Provide leadership by example to helper/servers & others in kitchen
* Positively reinforce and contribute to the team environment in the kitchen and cafeteria
* Must be willing and able to perform duties of the other Cook in their absence (shift goes 6am-1:30pm)
* Other duties as assigned, including operating POS if needed, dishwasher and monitoring cafeteria
