Salary Range: $64,000 - $69,000 depending on qualifications. WHAT YOU WILL BE WORKING ON: The essential functions of this position include, but are not limited to, the following fundamental duties: 1. In collaboration with the Manager of Wellness and Marketing Communications and others, develops internal and external communications to ensure cooperative objectives are achieved in an efficient and timely manner. 2. Designs and/or coordinates digital and print materials to market the cooperative and its programs. Functions include layout of newsletters, flyers, brochures, presentations, and promotional items following brand standards. * Advocate&#8217;s promotion and branding of the cooperative. * Solicits bids for marketing services such as printing and promotional items. * Facilitates, updates, and monitors cooperative website, and serves as training coordinator. * Ensures website compliance with applicable law and industry standards. 1. Helps build a positive image of the cooperative. * Works with media resources to promote cooperative programs and newsworthy events. * Represents the cooperative at special events and on committees. 1. Communicates with various stakeholders (e.g., cooperative staff, SCSC members, public, media) to present information through various formats (e.g., social media, website, presentations, printed publications, e-mails, video) in alignment with cooperative vision, goals, and objectives. * Answers basic inquiries for information, including email and social media. 1. Collaborates with cooperative staff, SCSC members, and community organizations (e.g., workshops, conferences) for the purpose of strategic planning, conveying and/or gathering information required to meet the needs. 2. Helps coordinate marketing and informational videos to promote and communicate the cooperative&#8217;s goals, programs, objectives, and achievements. 3. Tracks, analyzes, and reports marketing measurements, including but not limited to website, social media, and marketing communications programs. 4. Participates on various committees as directed. 5. Seeks out and participates in ongoing professional development. 6. Other duties as assigned. WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR: 1. Bachelor&#8217;s degree in communications, journalism, public relations, marketing, or related field preferred. Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. 2. Two years&#8217; experience working in communications, marketing, public relations, journalism, or related field. 3. Ability to perform well under pressure and deadlines. 4. Experience in graphic design with an understanding of visual communication, typography, and branding concepts. 5. Experience with website publishing, content management systems, and other technology needed for communications. 6. Flexibility in scheduling, ability to work before-and-after hours when needed. 7. Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills. 8. Ability to interact effectively with individuals and groups in a variety of settings and with persons of diverse backgrounds, experiences, and agendas.
