Applicant must have or be eligible for MN teaching license qualified to teach grade 7-12 Social Studies. Candidates with multiple licenses are encouraged to apply, HS Social Studies license is required. Applicants with knowledge and/or experience with differentiated instruction and teaching in an inter-disciplinary environment are preffered. You must be passionate about student success and preparing students for post-secondary education or a career. The ideal candidate must be able to provide students with rigorous and relevant course content while developing positive relationships with students, parents and staff. Crookston, MN is located in the heart of the Red River Valley in Northwest Minnesota and has a population of approximately 7,800. Agriculture is a very strong part of our community. University of Minnesota-Crookston campus is located here and is a very strong member and supporter of our community. Located just 25 miles east of Grand Forks, ND, we are close to the University of North Dakota, ample shopping, dining, recreational and fishing lakes, an international airport and more. District enrollment size is approximately 1250 students, with the high school about 500 students grade 7-12. Valid MN teaching license in the area of 7-12 Social Studies is needed. Coaching opportunities along with other extracurricular athletic and fine arts coaching & advising positions are available but not required. Salary is per negotiated contract.
