Spanish Teacher, Grades 6-12,Full time - Siren School District (Wisconsin)

The Siren School District is a small, rural, 4K-12 school district, with approximately 450 students in beautiful Northwest Wisconsin. The district has very dedicated and supportive teachers and staff along with a supportive community, school board, and administration, who altogether make the Siren School District a great place to work. The district is a forward-thinking, progressive district that values small class sizes and cares deeply about its students and staff. It is an excellent place to live and raise a family. The full-time position is primarily teaching high school students in Spanish 1 and 2, along with one class period per day introducing middle school students to Spanish during explore classes. Candidates should have good classroom/student behavior management techniques, methods for building and maintaining relationships, the ability to create a positive learning environment, and a love of teaching languages. A Wisconsin teaching license in Spanish (1365) is preferred but the district is willing to work with candidates to obtain the necessary licensure. Opportunities to coach or advise extra-curricular activities may also be available but are not required.
