Position: COLA - MARSS & Data Coordinator Open: 10-11-21 Location: Circle of Life Academy Close: Until Filled Pay: $21.44/hr. Benefits: Full Status: Full Time The White Earth Reservation Business Committee is currently seeking a qualified applicant who will be responsible for accurate and timely reporting of all student and district data via MARSS to the state of Minnesota ensuring proper funding. In addition, the position will serve as a data analyst preparing reports for multiple district departments and needs. &#8226; Assumes Student Management Software administrator role (i.e., Infinite Campus) &#8226; Assumes FRAM administrator role (i.e., Minnesota Department of Education Free and Reduced Meals. &#8226; Assist with multiple department document creations when needed. &#8226; Assists with school marketing and communications. &#8226; Assists School Administration with collection of documents for tribal, state, and federal reporting requirements. &#8226; Assists with employee interviews when necessary. &#8226; Assists in coordinating large school-wide events: Round Dance, Pow wow, Prom, Graduation, etc. &#8226; Assist in Assists with Truancy Reporting. &#8226; Compiles all yearly records, label, and store in file room each summer. &#8226; Ensures and tracks COLA employee annual Department of Interior (DOI) FISSA Trainings. &#8226; Maintains School Website and Google Calendars. &#8226; Ensures and tracks COLA employee annual background checks. &#8226; Ensures accuracy and tracks Student Enrollment. &#8226; Ensures accuracy and tracks student Records, Transfers and Drops. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: &#8226; Knowledge of filing procedures and file maintenance. &#8226; Knowledge of general office equipment. &#8226; Knowledge of computers and related software applications. &#8226; Knowledge of basic bookkeeping theories and principals. &#8226; Knowledge of federal and state laws governing area of assignment. &#8226; Knowledge of District policies and procedures. &#8226; Skill in classifying, recording, retrieving, and verifying information. &#8226; Skill in applying standard practices in areas of assignment such as bookkeeping. &#8226; Skill in using computers and related software. &#8226; Skill in mathematical computations. &#8226; Skill in communication, interpersonal skills as applied to interaction with coworkers, supervisors, the general public, etc. sufficient to exchange or convey information and to receive work direction. &#8226; Knowledge of the White Earth Reservation demographics, culture, history, and lifestyles. Qualifications: &#8226; Up to one year specialized or technical training beyond high school, or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above. &#8226; Valid Driver&#8217;s license and insurance required.
