The associate athletic director would be responsible for assisting with all teams' operations, administration, and performance at Maranatha. This role includes administering guidance for sports programming, conferring with coaches to establish games, events, and practice schedules, comply with school, MSHSL, and other association rules, discuss student eligibility with administration, purchase athletic equipment, regulate the budget, build community relations, secure fields, officials, and transportation for games, and select, recruit, evaluate, and oversee coaching staff. Qualifications desired are strong communication skills, ability to manage relationships with internal and external constituents, skilled at motivation and giving direction, solid analytical, multitasking, and administrative skills, and strategic planning. Education or experience includes a Master's degree in a related field or a Bachelor's degree with five or more years of equivalent experience.
