JOB DUTIES: Help in preparation of school meals, serving of meals, putting supplies away, dish room and is also available for operating the POS in the cafeteria during meal service when needed and available to fill in for additional hours as needed. Replenish serving lines, serve food, clean food service areas, equipment, and utensils; abide by all sanitation standards; must have the ability to perform kitchen work which includes standing, reaching, turning, lifting 20# frequently and 50# occasionally, as well as repetitive motions involved in panning, serving, and dish room. Must be able to bend and lift and be able to work with appropriate cleaning & sanitizing chemicals. Other duties as assigned by Kitchen Manager depending upon staffing levels including lunchroom monitoring as needed and operating the point of sale unit during meal time as needed. Will need to be flexible with earlier start time when other staff is absent, these extra hours, outside of contracted hours, will be paid on a Payroll Claim Form.
