This position assures a safe and customer-focused quality program by supervising participants and organizing age-appropriate activities, materials and program logistics for participants. Job Summary: 1. Organize and maintain a variety of age and developmentally appropriate materials and activities which provides participants with a safe, diverse, and quality experience. 2. Collaboratively create quality lesson plans that meet learning objectives and deliver quality instruction. 3. Supervise children to ensure a safe environment. 4. Maintain attendance records and informational forms to ensure participant safety, correct student ratios and that students are in appropriate age and developmental classes and activities. 5. Oversee designated staff or volunteers. 6. Communicate with parents, teachers, and program staff to ensure that programs run smoothly and problems are avoided or solved appropriately. 7. Promote and market program offerings to students, parents, and staff. 8. Attend required School District training in Bloodborne Pathogens, Right-to-Know, and First Aid/ CPR (unless currently certified) so that participants are supervised by knowledgeable and trained staff. Qualifications: 1. High school degree, GED, or equivalent. 3. Experience and skill in creatively instructing/developing a variety of enrichment offerings for preschool, elementary and middle school aged children. 4. Excellent interpersonal skills. 5. An understanding and empathy for children and willingness to work with children. 6. Preference for working in a team structure. 7. Ability to be organized and attend to details. Starting Wage: $15.33/hr.
