Rochester Beacon Academy is seeking a full time special education teacher for the 2022-2023 school year. RBA is a 6th-12th grade Charter School focusing on students with challenges who need additional support. The school opened its doors in the fall of 2015. RBA seeks people with great enthusiasm, a willingness to grow and change, and who love assisting students with special needs. Special Education staff are vital to our school. Special Education staff are expected to caseload manage, fulfill due process requirements, provide accommodations/modifications for students, consult with staff regarding classroom differentiation, maintain family contact, provide supervision/oversight as needed or directed, assist instruction and attend meetings as scheduled.
