The Specialist writes press releases, takes photographs, publishes print and electronic communications, manages social media accounts, and maintains district websites. This position is approximately 30 hours/week; 11 months. Qualifications: Bachelor&#8217;s Degree preferred in communications, journalism, public relations, advertising, marketing, or related field. Experience in journalism, communications, public relations, graphic design or related fields preferred. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required: * Strong organization, communication and interpersonal skills. * Demonstrated skills in writing and editing. * Ability to work with diverse stakeholder groups. * Demonstrated success in implementing strong communication campaigns. * Thorough knowledge of social media platforms. * Experience with web design, publications, and graphic design. * Competencies in publishing skills and graphic production and design. * Experienced video editing skills. * Problem solving skills and reasoning ability. * Ability to work with students, staff, parents and community members in a positive manner. * Work independently with minimal direction.
