Harvest Best Academy Student Recruiter Reports to: Director of Operations Position Description This position serves as part of the Enrollment team. The Student Recruiter is responsible for acquiring and recruiting new and transferring students. Duties and Responsibilities · Work collaboratively the Enrollment department to ensure HBA has a solid pipeline of new scholars. · Builds effective relationships with community partners and manages booths at community festivals. Responds to inquiries from parents and other agencies · Works to maintain and engage in meaningful and persuasive recruitment conversation to yield results. · Contacts and arranges for presentations and maintains outreach efforts. · Assists with the enrollment application process including communicating with families via mail, phone, and email and face to face door knocking home visits. · Manages recruitment communication efforts regarding information sessions and application deadlines via mass mailings, phone calls, emails, etc. Creates, packages, monitors and distributes resource materials for student recruitment and retention programs. · Analyzes trends in recruitment and retention programs; develops strategies for program evaluation. Prepares reports and proposals, and recruitment tracking for consistent updates on progress to goal. · Manages and coordinates internal recruitment events and arranges visits and tours for prospective students and parents. · Target Kindergarten and transferring student groups in the fulfillment of recruitment efforts. · Trains and assists staff members assigned in the recruitment process and procedures. · Engage and coordinate the utilization of virtual recruiting and social media recruitment channels. · Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned. Qualifications: · Bachelor’s Degree Preferred or equivalent experience · Must be able to independently travel to recruitment events and sites · Excellent written and verbal communication skills including a demonstrated ability to speak in front of large groups. · Ability to effectively collaborate, maintain, and develop key partnerships · Ability to work a flexible schedule including evening and weekend engagements · Proven ability to work with a team in a fast-paced environment; ability to help others when needed; ability to handle high-stress situations. · Energetic, self-motivated, and results-oriented As an equal opportunity employer, we hire without consideration to race, religion, creed, color, national origin, age, gender, sexual orientation, marital status, veteran status, or disability.
