Description: Full time school counselor for a small hybrid online charter high school located in Chisago City, MN. The job would entail focusing on student planning in the areas of post-secondary and careers, as well as, mental health supports along with SEL innovations. This person would lead our problem solving, MTSS, and Trauma Informed processes at the charter school. Work would be completed the majority of the time on our campus each week. An ideal candidate for this position would possess a MN school counselor license. This person must enjoy working with high school students individually and in small groups and be able to accommodate a variety of student needs. The ability to use technology and communicate using a variety of means is necessary. Qualifications: A qualified candidate will possess the following qualifications- A valid school counselor license or equivalent license Ability to work with alternative forms of educational delivery a plus. Ability to work with an at-risk student population is a requirement. Technology skills to work in an online setting are a necessity. Effective communication skills Organizational skills is a requirement. Knowledge of systems such as SEL and MTSS and the ability to facilitate these programs in a small school setting.
