Saint John's School of Little Canada is looking for Teacher Assistant's for our Eagle Club summer program. It runs from June 12, 2023 through Friday, August 25, 2023.
Anticipated Start Date: June 2023
Compensation:
Salary schedule based on previous experience.
License Requirement:
Department of Human Services (DHS) requirements
Position Summary:
Plan daily student activities and snacks dependent on age of students: PK-5
Snack
Study time or reading time
Exercise in gym or playground
Games and activities
Implement daily sign-in and sign-out procedures
Ensure that the areas used are cleaned up and organized at the end of each day
Provide program coordinator with supply list for purchasing (if needed)
Ensure that students are always cared for in a safe manner
Be present where needed, ready to work as needed, to meet responsibilities
Collaborate with staff on ways to improve behavior (if needed)
Account for instructional materials assigned to you (if applicable)
Be present with children always when responsible for their welfare
Job Qualifications
Be an enthusiastic and creative supervisor and motivator of children/adolescents
Be able to team with the other faculty members to ensure that the overall school mission is being met in each department area.
Have excellent speaking and writing skills and have the same high expectations of students.
