SUPERVISOR: Elementary Principal
START DATE: August 28, 2023
HOURS PER WEEK DURING SCHOOL: approx. 40
Salary: per Teacher Contract
POSITION SCOPE
Under the direction of the principal, this position is responsible for implementing grade level learning targets while supporting student reading needs at Goodhue Elementary school. This position is also responsible for collaborating with teachers in professional learning communities and working with students in small group settings.
QUALIFICATIONS
* Current MN Elementary Teacher LIcense
* Experience in delivering rigorous yet fun, age-appropriate curriculum
* Excellent communication skills
* Great technology skills or eager to learn such skills
* Evidence of planning and organizing projects with other colleagues
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES MAY VARY
* Attend professional development and training related to reading intervention
* Use technology to promote learning, creativity, and collaboration
* Share some responsibility in our MTSS Team an in our PLC’s
* Other duties may be assigned to promote the success of our students, staff, and school
* Become familiar with Words Their Way, Framework of American Reading Company, Road to Reading, Read Naturally and PRESS
