POSITION LOCATION: Southwest West Central Service Cooperative (SWWC) with placement in the Marshall, MN office.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES: The Accounting Specialist is responsible for maintaining the overall financial records for the SWWC and helps provide financial direction and fiscal integrity. In addition, the Accounting Specialist performs complex and accurate financial analysis, reconciliations, and coordinates the daily operations of the Business Office finance team.
EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s Degree and minimal experience in a job-related field OR equivalent combination of education, training, and experience in a job-related field that enables performance of all aspects of this position. Experience with Minnesota school funding is desired. Valid driver’s license required.
SALARY: Full-time position (260 days) beginning July 1, 2023. Excellent salary and benefits; salary is based on education, qualifications, abilities, and experience.
