Twin Cities International Schools (TCIS) is taking applications for a part-time EL/ESL/ELL (English Language) Teacher to work with Elementary School students (Grades K-8) for the upcoming 2023-24 school year. This is a part-time position with flexible hours and preferred grade levels to be mutually agreed upon between the candidate and Administration after successful interview. A full-time EL/ESL/ELL position is also posted to EdPost under Twin Cities International Schools.
Applicants must hold a valid Minnesota EL teaching license prior to classroom teaching. We are a public charter school located in Minneapolis with a student enrollment of approximately 1,000 (K-8) students and a large LEP population. The EL teacher will be responsible for teaching various groups of students, creating lesson plans, working with collaborative teams, engaging in clear communication with both staff and students and contributing positively to the learning and development of students. Experience with standards-based instruction, English Language Learners and common assessments a plus. A dual licensed, Elementary School Education and EL Licensure is preferred.
