High School Food & Nutrition Professional (5.5 hours per day)
In compliance with the Classified Master Agreement, please consider this as notification of the following position opening in the district:
To prepare and serve quality meals to students in a timely manner with a positive attitude. Daily setup and breakdown of the serving line.
5.5 hours per day from approximately 7:30 AM - 1:00 PM
Level I, Pay Lane 5
Salary: Per Master Agreement
Qualifications: School food and nutrition experience with preferred certification through the School Nutrition Association. Must have knowledge of and be able to follow the federal regulations for the National School Lunch and National School Breakfast Programs. ServSafe certification is required. Highly developed computer skills are necessary. Attention to detail, organization and a positive attitude are essential. Must be able to multitask, work independently, have good oral and written communication skills, and be capable of following directions. Must be capable of lifting 50 pounds. Must pass a background check. Candidates should enjoy working with adults and children.
Upon hire employee is required to obtain the following certificate: USDA Professional Standards-Minimum of School Nutrition Association Level 1 Certificate.
Time Limitations: Present employees must apply within seven working days with the last day, Tuesday, September 26, 2023.
