This is a 12-month (260 paid days) position. Salary: $86,904 - $91,810 (with district longevity) Days/Hours: Monday - Friday, 8 hours per day (40 hours per week) Responsible To: Finance Manager Position Purpose: The Senior Accountant is a lead member of the district's finance team and oversees, performs and supports various financial accounting duties. Responsibilities include: * Perform general accounting duties * Budget development and maintenance * Leads annual financial audit * Perform internal auditing functions to ensure accurate reporting and compliance with state and federal guidelines Required Qualifications: * Four-year accounting degree * CPA certificate preferred * Three years of experience in a related field, preferably with a Minnesota Public School District Benefits of Employment as of July 1, 2023: Eligible for benefits under the District 112 Professional and Technical District Personnel Contract.
