Description:
Minneota Public Schools is seeking a paraprofessional substitute after the New Year. We are looking for a candidate who acts with honor, shows respect, and meets high expectations!
Job Duties:
* Work collaboratively with the classroom teachers to provide students on an IEP with a rich educational experience
* Provide recess supervision and support
* Support the student during classroom activities
* There may be times when the paraprofessional will be asked to guide an activity or administer an assessment independently that the lead teacher has developed
* The days of service include Monday – Friday.
Requirements:
* HS diploma or GED
* Must be 18 years of age
Preferred Credentials, but not required:
* An associate’s degree OR
* Two years of post-secondary education (65 or more college credits) OR
* Para Pro certified
* Bilingual (Spanish)
**Experience in working with children preferred
