Job Title: Paraprofessional Part time and full time available Student Support: * Assist in the educational and social development of students under the direction and guidance of the special education and classroom teachers * Assist in the implementation of Individual Education Plans for the students and monitor their progress in coordination with the Special Education department * Provides support for individual students inside and outside the classroom to enable them to participate in activities * Provides individual support for Special Education students, which includes weekly one-on-one meetings for study skills, homework help, and emotional support * Work with other professionals as a student advocate * Assist classroom teachers with managing student behaviors * Implement strategies for meeting the academic, behavioral, and emotional needs of Special Education students * Communicate necessary information regularly to students, colleagues, and parents regarding student progress and student needs Other: * Participate in department, school, and parent meetings * Participate in appropriate professional activities * Other duties as assigned Send resume, cover letter, and references to cgarcialuna@sageacademy.org<mailto:cgarcialuna@sageacademy.org>
