Responsibilities: The focus of this position is to coordinate and oversee all aspects of student enrollment and enrollment data within the Mounds View Public School District. ENROLLMENT: * Accurately inputs and maintains parent, family and student data for all students enrolling within the District in Grades K-8. * Re-activates/corrects all student data records for grades K-8 as requested, and process status changes as they relate to pertinent enrollment events such as resident district changes, percentage enrolled changes, homeless student data changes, etc. * Directs the Enrollment Options Program (Open Enrollment) for Mounds View Public Schools, the State program for offering nonresident students the option to attend the district. Provide reports of nonresident students attending 621 for October 1 enrollment accounting, and as requested by administration. * Submits required State reporting for students denied open enrollment. * Enters and maintains the accounting of Mounds View resident student attendance in other public-school districts. * Maintains the accounting and student data of Mounds View resident student attendance in nonpublic settings. Submit required State reporting for students attending nonpublic schools. * District Liaison for all Homeschool families, providing required reporting forms and associated State directed home school materials and information, and act as District support person to these families. * Enters, maintains and reports the accounting and student data, and submit required State reporting for students being home schooled. * Coordinates the accounting of and maintains the student data for all homeless/transitional families/students attending in our District. * Processes changes to homeless student data as they occur and provides Administration a detailed end of year report of homeless students/families. * Works with technology staff to update/maintain enrollment detail for a variety of new year rollover needs, including but not limited to accurately accounting for, updating age ready Census/ECFE student data for advancement to kindergarten, etc. * Provides enrollment reports as requested. Regular reports include quarterly enrollment, all necessary official October 1 student accounting and capture rates, and enrollment projection reports. * Creates, reports and gathers a wide variety of data needed for staffing, building space concerns, projections, nonresident/transfer student accounting, building classroom management, and other requests as needed/requested. * Coordinates with technology, student information and building enrollment staff on training and procedures. * Provides year-long support in the accurate maintenance of school data. * Finalize October Enrollment and provide migration and projection report for migration purposes, including the percentage increase and decline by grade. * Supports the enrollment process by supporting staff, families and school personnel. * Works with enrollment mapping software to provide reports and fulfill requests as needed. FINANCE: * Processes requests for payment for non-public reimbursement following the information provided by the Minnesota Department of Education. * Works with the Accounts Payable team to process the requests to meet the required reporting information. * Supports the finance staff as needed. STUDENT INFORMATION SYSTEM: * Works with student information personnel to support the student information process. * Acts as the backup for student information personnel, as needed. * Supports the student information personnel by gathering data, entering data and making changes to the system. * Provides year-long support in the accurate maintenance of school data.
