Students will engage in social-emotional learning, math concepts, and strategies for school success. Students who successfully complete this program will earn one elective credit toward their High School diploma. Pay Rate $32/hr Program Dates/Times: July 8th &#8211; Aug 1st (M-TH) Student Hours: 8:15 AM &#8211; 12:15 PM Positions Description: If you are looking for a summer teaching position that will empower you to spend significant time with students strengthening beliefs and skills that will positively impact future learning you should consider applying for one of these positions. We are looking for licensed educators in Math, English, as well as any educators who have a strong passion for social emotional learning. We encourage social workers and counselors to consider applying. Required Qualifications: * Understanding of working with at risk and/or struggling learner * A commitment to student success * Ability to form relationships with students and families in a short period of time * Belief system (demonstrated in words and actions) that all students can learn and be successful Preferred Qualifications: * Great team player * Flexibility * Strong communication skills * Accountability and reliability Working Conditions: Classroom environment.
