Creating a safe Social-Emotional Learning Environment Job Summary The PBIS Coach collaborates with the Principals to facilitate and oversee the school&#8217;s PBIS programming and to carry out the school&#8217;s vision, mission, and overall behavioral goals. The qualified candidate will assist the principal in the overall PBIS implementation within the school; assist with student behavior through proactive, evidence-based methods of resolution and help with staff PBIS training. Supervise student behavior and attendance making necessary communication with principals, staff, parents, and support services as appropriate. Responsibilities * Promote a continuum of behavior support for all students * Promote a team-led process * Collect, analyze and use data for decision-making * Coordinate with district, regional and state efforts * Communicate with families regarding behavior incidents that happen on school grounds or on the bus. * Collaborate with staff on implementation of positive and proactive behavior management solutions. * Prepare reports, records, lists and other required behavioral information and data; * Assist with transportation as assigned. * Attend local, state and national conferences, conventions and workshops as assigned. * Other duties as assigned Qualifications * Required: Able to speak the Hmong language fluently * Evidence of success working within a school setting * Effective oral and written communication skills * Knowledge of trends in public education and ability to convey and interpret them to staff * Excellent communication skills * Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with staff, students, parents/guardians, and community * Successful experience in working with diverse populations * Bachelor's degree in Education Preferred * Preferred experience working with Hmong and Karen/Karenni students. * Demonstrated multi-cultural experience and ability to communicate with limited English speakers * Strong interpersonal skills * Strong organizational/planning skills * Strong computer and software skills * Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, while also being a strong team player -- Community School of Excellence School District #4181, 270 Larpenteur Ave West, St. Paul, MN 55113 Please submit the following: 1. Job Summary
