Position: K–4 Instructional Coach: Math, Literacy, and Science

Partnership Academy is a public charter school located in Richfield. The school provides exceptional learning opportunities for students in preschool to 8th grade who live in Richfield and the neighboring communities of Bloomington and south Minneapolis. Position Overview:
The K–4 Instructional Coach serves as an instructional leader who supports high-quality teaching in math, literacy, and science. The coach provides job-embedded coaching, models lessons, leads professional development, and partners with teachers to strengthen culturally responsive and standards-aligned instruction.

Qualifications:

 • Minnesota teaching license (required)
• Master’s degree in Education (required)

 • 3+ years successful teaching experience (required)

 • 1+ year experience leading or coaching adults (preferred)
• Knowledge of Responsive Classroom and Courageous Conversations (preferred)

 • Strong understanding of the Science of Reading; READ Act–approved training (preferred)
• Spanish speaker (preferred)
• Track record of exemplary classroom instruction and strong student achievement
• Ability to coach and support teachers to improve practice
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects
• Self-awareness and ability to lead adults with both warmth and accountability
• Deep knowledge of Minnesota K–4 standards and research-based instructional practices
• Experience analyzing data, facilitating PD, and supporting curriculum implementation

Responsibilities:
• Provide instructional coaching through observations, feedback, modeling, co-planning, and data analysis
• Support teachers in implementing high-quality, culturally responsive instruction in math, literacy, and science
• Facilitate weekly professional development aligned to school priorities
• Participate in weekly leadership meetings and collaborate on schoolwide systems
• Plan and lead at least four annual parent education events related to literacy, math, and science
• Support educator supervision, including evaluations, improvement plans, and conflict resolution
• Contribute to a positive, inquiry-oriented, literacy-rich school environment
• Other duties as assigned
